Krystal S Humes is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in working with children, adolescents and adults. She is trained in both psychotherapy and psychological assessment and is committed to providing effective, affordable, research-based services to her clients.
Krystal’s particular areas of therapeutic expertise include depression, anxiety, grief, stress and/or anger management, trauma and/or abuse recovery, relationship difficulties, family conflict and other personal challenges. She employs a holistic approach that focuses on the emotional, the social and the physical wellbeing of each individual client.
Krystal recognizes that healing is client-centered and ultimately stems from one’s ability to effectively tap into one’s inner strengths and resources. As such, she welcomes the opportunity to journey alongside her clients on their quest for greater self-discovery, acceptance and healing.
Krystal graduated with a BSc in General Psychology with Honours before pursuing and completing a MSc in Clinical and Health Psychology with Distinction from Bangor University, UK. In an effort to continue providing the best possible care and services to her clients, she is continuing her professional training by pursuing a doctoral degree (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology.
